Point spreads are used for scoring picks. Spreads are custom and should be provided by the Contest Admin before the pick deadline. Correct picks are the teams that cover the point spread.
You must choose a weight or a confidence value for each pick you make. If you have to make 4 picks per week, then you'd need to
assign a value from 4 to 1, 4 being the most confident, to each pick. If you win a game, you get 2 points times the weight value you assigned.
If you tie the game, you get 1 point times the weight value you assigned. If you lose the game, you get 0 points for that game. If your
most confident picks come through, then you will get more points for those wins.
Drop Highest is not set. If a player cannot pick the required number of games, they will pick from the remaining games with the lowest weight value dropped. For example, if the contest picks 16 games
and uses a custom deadline allowing picks to be made after the Thursday kickoff, and the player missed the Thursday game, they will pick the remaining 15 games and assign
weight values from 16 to 2.
Max 16 is not set. In weeks with 16 games, weights will go from 16 to 1. In weeks with fewer games, the max weight value will equal the number of available games. So in a week
with 14 games, weights will go from 14 to 1 with the two highest weight values dropped.
This football pick'em contest includes the playoffs. Games for each playoff week will be added after week 17 and each successive week.
Monday Night Football Tie-Break
This contest does not use a Monday Night Football Tie-Break.
WIN = 2 points, TIE = 1 point, LOSS = 0 points
The final standings will be calculated using the total points from ALL weeks.
